About Us
40+ Years experience in NDT
Spree NDT Co Ltd was formed in 1979 to provide a Non-Destructive Testing service in the south east of England. Over time it has grown to provide a comprehensive service throughout the UK and now covers various overseas countries. Over the last 25 years we have gained and retained UKAS accreditation for numerous testing methods required for weld procedure and welder qualification certification for both BS EN ISO and ASME standards. We hold both in house and on-site UKAS Accreditation to ISO 17025.
Our services
Radiography
We can provide radiographic inspection both on-site and in our UKAS/HSE approved radiography enclosures. We have the capability of using conventional X-radiography (up to 5mA & 300kV). We can provide a mobile dark-room facility allowing us to process and develop radiographs on site during the same shift, this increases production rates and ensures the quality of the final radiographs, reports will also be produced and issued while on site for time critical projects. For longer projects we can provide a fixed on-site dark room/office establishment. We also have market leading computed radiography equipment at our disposal to use in conjunction with our X-radiography kit, to suit all your necessary requirements. This is quicker and more environmentally friendly than the ‘wet film’ technique associated with conventional radiography. Depending on which type of inspection you opt for we will ensure full compliance with the latest recognised specifications across a large variety of industry and sectors.
